Currently, I am pursuing a 6-month internship at Biotecnika, where I am working on a project focused on evaluating AMR in Humans using Bioinformatics approaches. This opportunity has strengthened my ability to analyze genomic data and utilize bioinformatics tools, making me well-prepared for this role.
During my internship, I conducted a comparative genomics study on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, using bioinformatics tools like Clustal Omega. I have worked on analyzing biological datasets using Galaxy, an online web-based tool. I have worked with databases like NCBI, ResFinder, PATRIC, and SRA to perform sequence alignments and analyze bacterial genomes. Additionally, I have been expanding my programming skills with Python and R (Basic) and have used Google Colab to work with Biopython for automating data analysis.
I am particularly drawn to this position at MedGenome due to your innovative work in genomics and your commitment to sequence 100,000 Genomes in Asia.
