Cover Letter:

With a master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology from the Manipal School of Life Sciences and experience in biomedical application, I believe my experience and academic background make me well-suited for this position, and can contribute effectively to this role. For my master’s thesis, I had the privilege of delving into the intricate world of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disease. My research focused on exploring and understanding molecular strategies and therapeutic targets to alleviate these conditions, which honed my laboratory skills and deepened my understanding of experimental design and data analysis. I gained experience as a project trainee in CSIR-CCMB, where my research focused on protein isolation, antibacterial drug-loaded hydrogel fabrication, and characterization. Further, the biocompatibility of hydrogels was assessed in vitro, and I also performed an antimicrobial study to understand the antibiotic effect of the drug in hydrogels. My educational background, research experience, and passion for cutting-edge research initiatives made me confident that I would be honored to bring my skills and experience to your team. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to work in your lab. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to hearing from you.
