Cover Letter:

Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in the Genome Analyst position at MedGenome Labs Ltd. As a biotechnology post-graduate with hands-on experience in projects involving Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), molecular biology, and bioinformatics, I am eager to contribute my skills to your team and further develop my expertise in genetic data analysis.
Currently, I am working at THSTI, Faridabad, on a project focused on murine sepsis models to identify sera-metabolite biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis where we conduct cytokine profiling using multiplex ELISA and flow cytometry (FACS). Other than this, my work involves whole genome sequencing (WGS), Sanger sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis of clinical isolates Along with that I have also gained experience in Nanostring and Nanopore sequencing, strengthening my ability to handle complex genetic datasets.
I am particularly excited about this role because it provides the opportunity to work with sequencing technologies and develop expertise in an area that is crucial to the life sciences. I am eager to contribute to a team where I can learn and grow, gaining hands-on experience with sequencing technologies while exploring the intersection of computational biology and bioinformatics. This role aligns perfectly with my goal of integrating wet lab and dry lab skills, and I am enthusiastic about being part of a team that values innovation and collaboration in advancing scientific research. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my expertise aligns with your needs. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Shweta Tyagi
