Cover Letter:

I am excited to apply for the Genome Analyst position at Medgenome. With a strong foundation in genomics, bioinformatics and data analysis. I am confident in my ability to contribute to the advancement of genomic research and its applications. As a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with two years of experience in research and development as well as genetics, I possess a deep understanding of genomic data analysis, interpretation, and visualization. My expertise includes wet lab work, interpreting genomic data in the context of biological systems and disease mechanisms, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and execute genomic studies My experience after my postgraduate studies has equipped me with a strong foundation in genomic analysis, bioinformatics, molecular biology, animal cell culture, advanced analytical techniques, and microbial techniques. My research experiences are as a trainee—junior executive research at Unique Biotech Limited, Hyderabad, Telangana. I contributed to work on new microbial strain isolation (LAB) from samples and to check their potential as probiotics, prebiotics, and postbiotics in the research and development department under the guidance of Dr. Jayesh Ahire as well as Dr. Suvarna. This experience taught me the importance of scalability and efficiency in real-world applications, such as industry or large-scale production. As a research associate at Atal Incubation Centre CCMB, Hyderabad, Telangana. Work on a new research project entitled ‘Cultured Meat Production: A New Approach.’. Handling and experiencing cell culture, chicken fibroblast stem cell lines, and their cultivation under the guidance of Dr. Sandeep Sharma. Somehow, they were getting a loss of funding, and I switched my job. Selected as a Project Associate- I for a project entitled ‘Rare Paediatric Genetic Disorders (PRaGeD)’ at the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics, Hyderabad, Telangana. Here I worked in the Cell Cycle and Regulation Lab (LCCR) and started work with cell culture techniques as well as protein isolation and plasmid DNA isolation. Experienced molecular techniques very well. Recently, I’ve been working as a scientific consultant and assistant-I at Lilac Insights, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, in the Next Generation Sequencing department. Work is going on single variant analysis (SNPs) on patients’ samples by using the genetic analyzer 3500 Sanger sequencing, which is the traditional method for sequencing data (DNA). Data interpretation, results given as homozygous, heterozygous, or hemizygous by using interpretation sequencing data graphs. As an organized individual, I have honed my skills in the laboratory, where I have successfully conducted experiments, collected and analyzed data, and presented my findings in various academic forums. My research experience has taught me the importance of collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity in scientific inquiry. These experiences have not only honed my analytical and problem-solving skills but also instilled in me a passion for exploring the complexities of the human genome. I am particularly drawn to this role, because of its reputation for excellence in genomic research and its commitment to advancing our understanding of the human genome. I am excited about the prospect of joining a team of talented researchers and contributing my skills and expertise to the advancement of genomic research. Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further and explore. Sincerely, Ravina Lade
