Cover Letter:

Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my interest to work in your team. As a current Post Graduate student in
Biotechnology, I am eager to apply my skills and passion for research and development field.
I have completed my dissertation project work from National Institute of Biologicals, Noida. During my
project work I got an opportunity to work in two different laboratories [hidden], Molecular Diagnostic
Laboratory and Covid-19 Kit Testing Laboratory. Working in wet laboratory was a great experience.
I was assigned a project on the topic: Effect on the stability of viral RNA in HIV plasma under varying
storage temperature using high-end molecular system.
My purpose to carried out this project was to know the favorable temperature for the transportation of
HIV samples in Northern part of India, also I wanted to know that at which temperature this deadly
viruses (HIV, HBV, HCV) are more active in our blood or plasma samples. This can be helpful in
performing the various researches related to HIV or ART in India. My project was based on Real- Time
Polymerase Chain Reaction technique and Roche Cobas 6800 was my main molecular system (Fully
automated) for the testing of HIV samples.
I have good experience of sample handling, sample preparation, RNA/DNA isolation and quantification,
RT-PCR, and Result analysis. Also, I was trained by my guide to operate fully automated molecular
systems like Roche Cobas 6800, Roche Cobas 4800, CAP/CTM, Abbott m2000, etc. I have handled
the samples of HIV, HBV, HCV and Covid-19 patients.
My aim is to become a scientist, who can work for the wellness of all living beings. In future, I want to
work on the permanent solution of cysts. In present scenario, we have a treatment for cancer but there
is no permanent cure of cyst, other than a surgery for short term relief.
I am applying for this position to enhance my practical and technical knowledge and I am confident that
my experience, skills and desire to learn and grow professionally would make me a valuable asset to
your team. I am excited about the opportunity to work with a team of professionals and to continue to
improve my skills and knowledge.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Juhi Rani
