Dear Professor,

I, Gowdhami, am very much delighted to have the opportunity to connect with you. I am a doctoral graduate who pursued a Ph.D. degree in Zoology from the Department of Animal Science at Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. My knowledge of your groundbreaking research and its impact, gained through your university website, has inspired me.

The availability of a “Clinical Research Associate (CRA)” position within your esteemed institute fills me with gratitude and excitement. I am keen to contribute under your esteemed guidance to unlock the secrets of intricate molecular mechanisms that hold the key to developing targeted therapies. I’m eager to contribute to this field by designing drug molecules that can have a significant clinical impact.

My doctoral thesis is “In vitro antiproliferative and apoptosis-inducing effect of cobalt (III) Schiff base complexes on various human cancer cell lines”. A major finding from my PhD research is exploring the impacts of cobalt (III) Schiff base complexes on various human cancer cell lines such as MCF-7, A549, HeLa, and HepG2. In this piece of research, I came to adopt certain procedures like mammalian cell culture, fluorescence staining, in vitro cytotoxicity, antioxidant assays, and molecular techniques, including RNA/DNA isolation, Protein isolation, qPCR, and RT-PCR, to evaluate the mRNA expression analysis of targeted genes. In addition, my M.Phil in Biotechnology and M.Sc degree in Integrated Life Sciences (Animal Biotechnology) where I extensively practiced animal maintenance, dissection, perfusion, immunohistochemistry, etc.

During my publication (Gowdhami et al.,2021 & 2022), I was very fortunate to deepen my knowledge of the molecular mechanism of cancer onset and progression via various types of cellular and nucleic staining, along with the advanced molecular techniques of genomics.

I am a Research Scientist at the Biological and Bioinformatics Research Centre. Before this, I served as a Research Scientist at the BioMe Live Analytical Centre from January 2022 to November 2022, adding to my diverse research experience.

In addition to these exposures, I’m interested in being an “Clinical Research Associate (CRA)” position within your esteemed institute to explore more advanced procedures that I may not have known in my past research career and to experience the heart-whelming platform that hopes to enrich my research expertise and let me keep growing in my career. I believe your lab is the right place for that. I hope you can give me a chance to be part of your research group.

I am highly motivated and detail-oriented, and I possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. My ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and my strong communication skills make me an excellent fit for this position. I am excited about the prospect of contributing to groundbreaking research that could positively impact human health and well-being.

My strong analytical abilities, proficiency in molecular biology, cell and tissue culture molecular experiments, team-oriented approach, and enthusiasm for scientific discovery closely match the objectives of your research group. My capacity to make valuable contributions to your team’s further research in the fields of the development of innovation and discovery is paramount, with a particular emphasis on cancer biology, neuroscience, and molecular biology.

Thank you for considering my application. I am looking forward to the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further and to learn more about the exciting research being conducted in your institution.

Thank you for your time.
Respectfully,
Dr.B.Gowdhami.
