Title: Overcoming the Dual Challenges: Antibiotic-Resistant Pathogens in Goat Milk and Biofilm Formation in the Dairy Industry Using Nanotechnology
I worked on isolating harmful bacteria from raw goat milk and tested how well neem, ashwagandha, selenium, and zinc nanoparticles could stop their growth and break their biofilms. I used different lab techniques to check their antibacterial, antioxidant, and biofilm-inhibiting abilities. This research was presented at two conferences and is being prepared for journal publication.
ACHIEVEMENTS
- Presented a Review Poster at Ganpat University (NOV 2024) – Title: “Herbal Nanotechnology for Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Pathogens in Cattle Diseases.”
- Presented original research on “Overcoming the Dual Challenges: Antibiotic-Resistant Pathogens in Goat Milk and Biofilm Formation in Dairy Industry, using Nanotechnology” as a poster presentation at the 3rd ICMSN International Conference, LJ University (22nd Feb 2025), and oral presentation at the 1st National Conference on Green Future, St. Xavier’s College (3rd Apr 2025).
- Planning for Research Publication (ONGOING) – Preparing dissertation research for submission to an international journal under the title “Overcoming the Dual Challenges: Antibiotic-Resistant Pathogens in Goat Milk and Biofilm Formation in the Dairy Industry Using Nanotechnology.”
