Cover Letter:

I completed my Ph.D. in Biotechnology (DST-INSPIRE SRF) in November 2021 with Dr. Birendra Prasad Shaw (Scientist G: Retired) at the Plant and Microbial Biotechnology Unit, Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, INDIA.
The topic of my doctoral program thesis is “Biochemical and molecular characterization of genes involved in ion-relation in rice cultivars contrast for salt tolerance”; with this, I would like to carry forward my research path in the field of Plant Molecular Biology.

I have been working as CSIR–Research Associate-I at the Department of Biological Sciences, IISER Mohali, since July 2024. Before this designation, I was designated as Project Research Scientist-C at ICMR-RMRC, Gorakhpur.

In the past, I had worked experience as a Post-Doctoral Fellow for a short term under the research topic, “Agrophysics and remote sensing technology application in crop plants under Abiotic stress at Migal Galilee Research Institute, Kiryat Shemona, Israel, from April 2022 to September 2022.

I have experience in scientific publication communication as I got the opportunity to play the role of the corresponding author, with most of my published articles securing first authorship. Nature-wise wise I am very flexible to do work either as an independent scholar or in teamwork, but usually, I like to do teamwork. Recently, I have been assigned as a reviewer for reviewing several manuscripts from Springer journals.

I have explored presenting my research work at various national and international conferences and visited many other places in life to explore scientific knowledge in discussions. I have a great interest in sharing ideas and building a strong scientific network with others. In the future, I would like to stand as an ideal researcher, administrator, faculty, or scientist for contributing significantly research work.
