01/2022-06/2022 ([hidden]) – Biochemical analysis of roasted Koraput Coffee by FTIR and antimicrobial analysis:

First, I made coffee extract using distilled water, acetone, benzoic acid, acetic acid, ethanol, methanol, etc. I used a rotary evaporator to concentrate extracts and used them to analyze antimicrobial properties by agar plate diffusion method. Concluded that Koraput coffee has more phenolic compounds than other coffees, giving it antimicrobial properties.

01/2020-03/2020 ([hidden]) – Polytene chromosomes abnormalities due to artificial food color:

Cultured Drosophila in normal food and food with food color. Counted the number of larvae, pupa, and adult Drosophila from each vial, then compared the numbers between normal culture and food color-treated. Collected salivary glands from normal and treated larvae, made slides of polytene chromosomes, and compared them. Noted that treated adult flies could not fly as high as normal flies, and treated larvae showed locomotory abnormalities compared to normal larvae.
