Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have excelled in molecular biology, specializing in sequencing methodologies and taxonomically identification of microbes by different approaches within the microbiology domain. My expertise encompasses NGS, Sanger sequencing and investigating pathogenicity by screening antimicrobial compund. With 6 publications to my credit, my track record includes conducting independent research and demonstrating a strong commitment to rigorous scientific inquiry and knowledge dissemination through publishing in reputable scientific journals. Additionally, I possess proficiency in taxonomically identification of microbes by physiological, biochemical (API, BIOLOG, VITEK), Chemotaxonomy ( MALDI TOF, FAME analysis, Polar lipid and quinone.) and by molecular approach 16S rRNA gene sequencing furthermore, I have actively mentored students, trainees and technicians, contributing to their growth and proficiency in the field.
During my tenure at the National Centre for Cell Science, Previously MCC now NCMR, as belong to be a part of a microbial culture collection individually handling, maintaining, supplying and keeping all the data record of 25000 pure bacterial cultures for long term cryopreservation and lyophilisation and passage the same. Along with these I m handling Antimicrobial resistance repository. and actively involve service of Sanger sequencing, Scanning Electron Microscopy and MALDI- TOF Analysis, furthermore I had spearheaded the development of Standardized of polar lipid technique resulting it use for as service providing by NCMR NCCS which is useful for project growth potential. I was actively involved in pioneering research initiatives, including the Isolation, characterisation,identification and screening of Antimicrobial compound. These endeavors showcased my proficiency in microbial taxonomy and next generation Illumina sequencing techniques. Furthermore to contribute in drug discovery now pursuing a course of AI ML in Biology, Bioinformatics & Computational Biology Training Program by BioTenika, working on Natural product drug discovery : Applying machine learning to discover novel drug from natural product, plants and microorganism.
