Summary
I’m a microbiologist, enthusiast with a strong interest in food safety, pharmaceutical microbiology, and bio-based innovations. I hold a Master’s degree in Microbiology and have completed advanced training programs in molecular biology, bioinformatics, and microbiological techniques. My academic and project experience have given me structured scientific knowledge alongside practical laboratory exposure.
My research on halotolerant phosphate-solubilizing bacteria for biofertilizer production helped strengthen my expertise in microbial isolation, characterization, and biochemical testing. This work bridged core microbiological concepts with applications in sustainable agriculture and industrial biotechnology.
Participation in workshops on sericulture, beekeeping, and extremophiles further enriched my understanding of microbial diversity and their biotechnological potential. I’ve also undergone Food Safety (FoSTaC) and HACCP-level training, aligning my skillset with industry standards for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
I’m passionate about ensuring product quality and safety in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. Actively seeking opportunities where I can contribute through laboratory excellence, microbial safety protocols, and quality control initiatives in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.

Project
Isolation, Identification and Characterization of Halotolerant PSB and Production of Biofertilizer
My research, titled- “Isolation, Identification and Characterization of Halotolerant PSB and Production of Biofertilizer” was a part of my Master’s thesis.
This project aimed to isolate and identify halotolerant phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) from nursery soil samples using serial dilution and spread plate techniques. Selected isolates were screened for phosphate solubilization on Pikovskaya’s agar and broth supplemented with NaCl to assess salt tolerance.
The isolates showing significant halo zones were subjected to secondary screening. Identification was carried out for potent isolates. Based on characterization results, efficient PSB strains were used for biofertilizer production, and their efficacy was tested via seed germination assays under saline conditions to evaluate plant growth-promoting activity.
