Academic Projects:
Thesis Title: “Genomic and Computational approach for identification and prediction of drug candidates for MDR-TB InhA resistant”
ICMR – RMRC, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha
01/2024 – 06/2024
Objective: Culure and Identification of resistant profiles in TB bacilli by using TNGS and WGS approach and prediction of drug candidates for InhA protein from the natural and synthetic compounds
Conclusion: In this experiment, by using a genome approach, resistance patterns were identified, and top 3 mutational genes (rpoB, InhA, gyrB) were found. InhA was targeted for Molecular Docking, and three compounds (Aloe emodin, Epigallactocatechin gallate, and Rutin) with the best affinity were identified for further use as drugs for Tuberculosis.
