Proficient in experimental design, data analysis, and laboratory techniques with the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. Passionate about harnessing scientific exploration to address real-world challenges and drive progress in biotechnology.

EDUCATION
PhD. in Biotechnology
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE)
2017-2023
MSc. in Biotechnology
Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology/ MAHE
PhD Student

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
I completed my thesis work entitled “Evaluation of TIF1γ as a mediator of self-renewal of cancer stem cells in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma” in 6 years. Here, I got experienced in cell culture techniques and basic molecular biology and biochemical techniques. I have enough practice in FACS, Confocal microscopic staining, IHC, different electrophoresis techniques, and immunoprecipitation. I can independently design and execute experiments to address a research problem and analyze the data derived from it to reach a conclusion. In addition, I can also troubleshoot the mistakes made during the execution of the experiment to efficiently repeat the protocol by correcting the mistake. (2017-2023)

Cover Letter:

I am a passionate research professional with PhD degree with more than 6 years of experience. I had hands on experience in all the molecular biology and cell biology techniques. I am well experienced in identifying a research problem, planning the experiments well ahead and executing them in time, analyzing the data and troubleshooting the unexpected outcomes. My PhD work involved working with different cancer models in vitro and in vivo. It included cancer cell lines, primary cells and xenograft mice models. I have hands-on experience in various assays like FACS, confocal microscopy – both immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry, real-time PCR, western blotting and many other self-renewal assays as my work was on cancer stem cells. I have generated a self-renewal reporter construct through cloning, which helped my team to screen the cancer stem cells effectively. I am very much familiar with RT-PCR and qRT-PCR also, which helped in screening the expression of different self renewal genes. I believe my practical knowledge and expertise is competent enough to contribute to the role vacant in your company.
