Cover Letter:
I am writing to apply for the Genome analyst position at MedGenome. I have a Master’s in Genomics with a strong foundation in Bioinformatics. My experience includes working with human datasets, performing variant analysis using GALAXY. Since then I have learnt Python and R for data interpretation. I am transitioning from traditional wet lab to Bioinformatics and computational biology.
I have on-going courses on Python, Linux, WGS data analysis and more. I am learning standard pipelines like GATK, Bowtie and more for NGS analysis.
I am eager to apply this knowledge and learn a lot more in the leading lab in India that is MedGenome.
Thank you.
