I am Smritikana Chakraborty from Kolkata, West Bengal. I am writing to you regarding any available vacancy at your place. I have the ability to learn things quickly and all I need is an opportunity to learn. I am passionate about my work and all I need is an opportunity to learn and grow.
I am currently working in DCG Datacore (India) System limited from 4th July, 2022 till now as a Project Associate I. Here I am working as a Medical Coder. I had also worked at SRL Diagnostics (Presently known as Agilus Diagnostics) in Kolkata as a Junior Scientific Officer in a molecular biology laboratory (specifically doing RT-PCR) from 28th April,2021 to 31st March,2022 under a contract. I have hands- on experience in the RT-PCR test and am also able to do the analysis of data of Covid-19 patient samples. I have also learnt PCR techniques, multiplex PCR, other molecular techniques like SDS-PAGE, Agarose gel electrophoresis, I have had experience for three months as a project trainee at National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Disease (NICED-ICMR), Kolkata. I had been working under a review project entitled “Molecular typing of archived Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli strains isolated in Kolkata during 2015”. I also had done a project review work as a part of my Masters study named as“Vasodilation Mechanism of Vampire toxin, vCGRP, and its potential benefits on human health”.
I have experience in Molecular Biology Techniques (SDS-PAGE, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, Isolation of Genomic and Plasmid DNA, PCR for Gene detection, RNA Isolation), General Biochemistry assays etc during my bachelor’s and master’s. I have had a Diploma In Information technology Application (DITA). During my project training period I had learned PCR technique to check LT,ST strains of Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli and after that preparation cDNA for RT-PCR technique.
