I am writing to apply for the position of Genome analyst
I have completed my Master in MLT ( Microbiology and Immunology) from Rajiv Gandhi university of Health sciences, (St John’s Medical College and Hospital) (ADMRC-ICMR South zone) Bangalore. I have expertise in techniques and knowledge in biochemistry, Haematology, Blood transfusion, microbiology, immunology, infectious diseases serology, molecular techniques, Molecular Genetics.
In addition, I had a project on “Microbiological profile of patient with suspected pneumonia – A descriptive study from tertiary care center” I determined the distribution of bacterial etiological pathogens and their antibiotic susceptibility pattern and also showed the importance of setting up laboratory techniques for viruses and atypical bacteria detection in culture-negative samples. I am adept at using apps like Zotero, epiinfo, Ms Excel, and research methodology.
I have also worked in ICMR-RMRC Port Blair (RMRCSVP), ANIIMS Port Blair, and working in Hospitals accredited with NABL and NABH. I have practical experience of protocols and procedures required in accredited laboratories.
