  • Investigation of Adaptive Responses of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum to Acidic pH Stress
    – Symbiosis School of Biological Sciences, Pune
    • Aim of the study was to develop an evolved strain of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum NCIM 2903 with enhanced acidic pH tolerance by performing Adaptive Laboratory Evolution (ALE) under acidic pH stress
    • Adapted populations were assessed to check acidic pH tolerance and cross tolerance to bile stress by CFU assay and fatty acid content by GC-FID
  • PCR based incrimination of dengue virus in Aedes mosquito
    – ICMR-NIREH, Bhopal
    • Aim of the study was to detect the prevalence of dengue virus in Aedes mosquito
    • Further, RT-PCR, cDNA synthesis, and PCR amplification of cprm gene to detect the presence of dengue virus in Aedes mosquito
    • Lastly, serotyping of positive dengue samples via PCR amplification
