Hi,
I am writing to express my interest in the Bioinformatics position, as advertised. Self motivated person with an MSc in Computational Biology specializing in NGS Data Analytics from the University of Kerala, alongside hands-on research experience in both wet and dry lab environments, I am excited to apply my skills in bioinformatics to solve biological problems and contribute to innovative research at your company.
During my academic journey and internships, I have developed a strong expertise in NGS Data Analysis particularly with RNA-Seq data analysis, differential gene expression studies, and pathway identification, which was further demonstrated in my master’s dissertation. The study on ‘Effect of Smad4 in CD8 T cell fate during Bacterial and Viral infections’. I am proficient in R programming, Python, and command-line Linux environments, which I have used extensively in high-throughput sequencing data analysis pipelines. Additionally, my familiarity with usage of bioinformatics tools & databases, combined with skills in scripting and machine learning, makes me a suitable candidate for this role.
I am particularly drawn to your company because of your commitment to advancing bioinformatics research and your innovative approach to solving biological challenges. I believe that my background in computational biology, NGS Data analysis, and experience in transcriptomics aligns well with the goals of your team, and I am eager to contribute to ongoing and future projects. I have attached my CV for your review, and I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills and experiences align with the needs of your team. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to your company.
Sincerely,
Muhammed Hakkim N
